Mr. O’Neill’s expertise includes real estate strategic planning, project oversight, structuring/supervising joint ventures, supervision of outside legal counsel, financial analysis, acquisition/disposition of real estate assets, asset management, lease negotiations, and serving as the managing general partner in more than 20 private limited partnerships or limited liability companies. Mr. O’Neill holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the US Military Academy in West Point, NY, and a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan.

Mr. Bauer is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Land Services Division of NSI Consulting. Mr. Bauer has extensive experience managing various pipeline right-of-way and oil and gas lease brokerage projects for clients in almost every major oil and gas-producing basin throughout the continental US. With more than 28 years of combined land field and in-house experience, Mr. Bauer’s knowledge of the business and ability to manage large projects have provided his clients with superior leasehold positions in their areas of interest. Prior to becoming part of the NSI Land team, he was VP of Business Development and Project Management for a competing land services company. He also has an extensive background in upper management positions responsible for managing the deployment of large wireless telecommunication market launches throughout the Midwest and Southeast regions of the US for carriers such as Nextel, Sprint, ATT Wireless, MetroPCS, and T-Mobile. Mr. Bauer attended the University of Michigan.

Alexander Coughlin joined NSI in 2019 with an extensive background in the real estate industry after working for several clients, including some of the largest pipeline companies in the country. Prior to working for NSI, Mr. Coughlin worked in the oil and gas industries for 10 years. He has been a leader in the acquisition, construction, and completion of two FERC-sanctioned pipelines that stretched over several hundred miles. Mr. Coughlin has varied and diversified experience in the oil and gas and pipeline industries. He graduated from Carson Newman University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an MBA.

Michael Schira has been serving as the President of NSI since 2006. Prior to his current position, Mr. Schira worked for MetroPCS and LCC International, supervising the acquisition of cellphone tower sites. He has also worked in various capacities in the private practice of law. In addition, Mr. Schira has an extensive facility management background with the City of Dearborn Heights. Mr. Schira holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit – Mercy School of Law in Detroit, MI, and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Federal Bar. Mr. Schira earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.

Mr. Davis has extensive experience in energy and infrastructure real estate, renewable energy, and corporate sustainability. Prior to working with NSI, Mr. Davis specialized in the sale of investment properties for CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield and held positions with Schneider Electric’s Energy and Sustainability Services and the 3Degrees’s Renewable Energy and Climate Services. From 2004 to 2006, he also served as the President of NSI Consulting & Development, Inc. Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, and an MBA from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management of Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI.

Mr. Turner has assisted NSI clients with lease negotiation tasks and the transfer of corporate real estate assets. Mr. Turner is also extremely knowledgeable in computer systems and software and their application to the fields of real estate and law. Mr. Turner’s expertise includes internet systems, software, HTML programming, and site design for internet and intranet applications. Mr. Turner has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit – Mercy School of Law. Mr. Turner has licenses to practice law in the states of Michigan and Colorado and has specialized in the areas of corporate law and general civil litigation.
